Currently, I am writing this post during the biggest pandemic I have seen in my lifetime. Hopefully, we will all come out of this safe and healthy.
A little-known fact about me, I have a BS in chemistry. Yes, I spent 4 years of my life mixing chemicals. This has probably been helpful with my cooking throughout the years (lol).
During this time in the world, hand sanitizer has been very hard to get. So I thought I would use my degree to throw together some hand sanitizer for my family and me. So I did some research and discovered that the World Health Organization (WHO) put out a paper a few years ago giving what is needed to make proper hand sanitizer. I had to make some slight replacements but, it was easy to recreate. If you would like to read the paper for yourself I have it linked HERE.
